Polystyrene (PS)
Product Features
It is a thermoplastic amorphous resin. The optical performance is quite good, with transparency reaching 88~92%, and it has good gloss. It is colorless, odorless, and non-toxic, and can be freely colored. It has good dielectric properties and extremely high water resistance, making it an excellent insulating material. However, it has poor chemical stability and can be dissolved by various organic solvents. It is mainly divided into general-purpose polystyrene (GPPS, commonly known as transparent polystyrene), impact-resistant polystyrene (HIPS, commonly known as modified polystyrene), and expandable polystyrene (EPS).
